Aave USDT0 Pool on Monad: $4.4M Unborrowed of $55.9M
4 million unborrowed against $55. 9 million supplied in a September 12, 2026 snapshot dated 21:09 UTC, leaving only a thin liquidity buffer for withdrawals.
Aave’s USDT0 pool on Monad showed roughly $4.4 million unborrowed against $55.9 million supplied in a September 12, 2026 snapshot dated 21:09 UTC, leaving only a thin liquidity buffer for withdrawals. The figures come from CryptoSlate’s reading of an Aavescan reserve display and have not been independently reproduced on-chain.
TLDR KEYPOINTS
- $55.9 million supplied to the Aave V3 USDT0 reserve on Monad in the reported snapshot.
- About $4.4 million unborrowed, roughly 7.9% of supply.
- Approximately 92.1% implied utilization, if unborrowed means supply minus outstanding borrowing.
Aave’s USDT0 pool on Monad shows $4.4M unborrowed
The Aave USDT0 pool on Monad reported $55.9 million supplied and $51.5 million borrowed at the September 12 timestamp, per CryptoSlate. Those rounded balances leave about $4.4 million not currently lent out. For related coverage, see Goldman Sachs Sees 85% Chance of September Fed Rate Hike.
USDT0 supplied on Aave V3 Monad — September 12 snapshot
$55.9 million
$55.9M supplied and $4.4M unborrowed
No source link exposed the underlying reserve state, and the observation carries a single timestamp rather than a verified on-chain block. The snapshot reports a 6.10% total supply APR for USDT0, split between a 4.34% protocol rate and an estimated 1.76% WMON reward, per the same CryptoSlate reading. For related coverage, see Huma Finance’s PST Token Hits $322M Market Cap on Solana.
Aave’s official documentation notes that withdrawals are capped at the unborrowed underlying assets in a pool, with an added position-health constraint for suppliers using their deposits as collateral. Low available liquidity does not by itself mean a withdrawal failed or that USDT0 depegged. For related coverage, see Teucrium XRP Short ETF Delayed for the 19th Time.
The figures imply roughly 92.1% utilization
Subtracting the reported borrowing from the supplied balance leaves about $51.5 million outstanding, which holds only if both readings share a measurement basis and unborrowed means supply minus borrowing. On that basis the unborrowed share works out to roughly 7.9%.
Estimated USDT0 unborrowed — September 12 snapshot
≈$4.4 million
Calculating implied borrowing and utilization
The same arithmetic puts implied utilization near 92.1%. Treat the 7.9% unborrowed share and 92.1% utilization as calculations from rounded headline figures, not metrics independently reported by Aave or Aavescan. The dollar denominations should not be converted into exact USDT0 token quantities.
Named risk providers had already flagged tight conditions on this reserve. TokenLogic’s September 11 analysis said USDT0 supply peaked at $167.3M on August 15 and fell to about $57.2M within roughly three weeks, while debt held between $53M and $62M, according to its governance post. A separate reserve table in that report listed $57.3M supplied, $52.8M borrowed and 92.2% utilization, distinct from the September 12 snapshot.
TokenLogic reported the reserve sat above its 92% optimal utilization for 261 of 721 sampled hours between August 8 and September 7, including 13 hours above 98%, with a peak hourly borrow APR of 27.21%. On the constraint, the DAO service provider said the supply side is the constraint. LlamaRisk’s September 11 review separately recommended lifting the USDT0 and USDC Slope1 from 4.40% to 5.00% while leaving the 92.0% optimal utilization, base rate and Slope2 unchanged; that recommendation was not confirmed as executed. Both providers disclose partial Aave DAO funding, and TokenLogic discloses an active service-provider relationship.
The supply side is the constraint.

What the pool snapshot leaves unanswered
A live Aavescan display during a September 14 fetch showed the Monad USDT0 reserve at $62.3M supplied and $58.2M borrowed, a later and separate observation from the September 12 figures. Supplied balances read higher, yet the implied unborrowed buffer sat near $4.1M rather than $4.4M. Aave’s broader posture on thin markets is well documented, having moved to drop support for low-revenue blockchains earlier this cycle.
Rates and changes over time are not provided
One dated pair of balances cannot establish whether utilization is rising or falling, nor explain the borrowing activity behind it. The snapshot does not support any inference of an APY, a guaranteed withdrawal amount, a liquidity crisis, or an investment view. It also stands apart from unrelated Aave events such as the protocol’s $195M bad-debt episode tied to a bridge exploit.
For background, AAVE traded at $127.88, up 0.59% over 24 hours, with the broad crypto Fear & Greed Index at 57. That token-price context is not evidence for the reserve’s liquidity.
